GradLaw dinner, Spring 2015 |
Every other week Fr. Sebastian leads a discussion on the faith over the finest vintages Carlo Rossi has to offer.
Past topics and discussions have regarded statements about God and the world from the Holy Father, and for the 2015-16 academic year, we discussed the ten commandments. In each session we discussed one of the commandments, focusing in particular on what they are meant to free us from and what the are meant to free us for. Are they really abiding and eternal laws? Do they have any variation? Are there ever times when they are not applicable? We concluded the year by discussing the role of women in the Catholic Church, the Church's teaching on marriage, and prayer.
Beginning with the Fall of 2016, we will discuss the Beatitudes. To learn more, click here.
